Playing at home

What you need

• A computer or smart TV with a web browser. A laptop plugged into the TV works well.
• A phone with a camera.
• A printer, and internet on the computer and the phone. The phone can use Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Set up

1. Pick a theme and buy it. It gives you 7 days of play with all of that theme's animals. The days start the first time you play, not when you buy.
2. Print the sheets. Open your account page, press Print sheets next to the theme, and print at 100% (actual size), landscape. Every sheet has four black squares in the corners: they need to stay on the page.
3. Colour them in. Anything goes. Darker colours show up best.
4. Open the show on the big screen: go to play.squigglezoo.com/play and sign in.
5. Connect the phone. Point the phone's camera at the code on the screen and tap the link. No app or sign-in needed on the phone.
6. Start the show, then press Take a photo on the phone. Get all four corner squares in the photo, and press Send to the screen.

Tips

• Lay the sheet flat in good light, and avoid shadows from your phone or your hand.
• Press F for full screen and S for settings during the show.
• Sound needs one click on the screen after the show starts (a browser rule).
• No QR scanner on the phone? On the phone, go to play.squigglezoo.com/phone and sign in with the same email.
• Only animals from the themes you're playing come to life. The phone will tell you if a sheet is from another theme.

If something isn't working

• "Couldn't find the sheet": get all four black corner squares in the photo and try again, a little further away.
• The phone says the code stopped working: scan the code on the big screen again.
• The screen says it lost the connection: check the internet. It reconnects by itself.
